roses are red
violets are blue
no number can measure
how much i love you
you silly and sweet
pretty and kind
all your qualities make
you stay on my mind
I long for the day
for me to take you away
and cuddle for hours
in a wide field of flowers.
if I picked a rose
that would symbolize you
the rose would be perfect
because so are you
but there's no rose perfect
nor words can describe
the truly happy feeling

college readiness 51% (?)

so this past weekend I took a couple giant leaps towards being ready for going away to college. by that I mean, I got a couple things for my room including sheets and a comforter, a wastebasket, deodorant, pillows, one of those warm blankets that I'll use in the winter, storage containers, um I think that's it. the main thing I'm saving up for is my new laptop. my dad says that he'll help me buy one but the way things are going now, I should try to get it myself. I'm looking for anything from $300-600. with 3GB+ and at least 200GB. my friend told me when I told her that idk what I should bring/pack besides clothes to bring everything that I have in my room. half of me thinks I don't have that much stuff and half thinks I have way too much for that. another thing I planned to do for a while now when I realized there's no Chase in Boston was make an account with Bank of America. and I took care of that today. I'll put all my workstudy money in that account. and I'll use that one more often once my chase debit card runs out of money. speaking of workstudy, I gotta get my workstudy job taken care of. tomorrow I'll probably go to the library for that. or maybe I'll do it tonight on my phone. speaking of library, I FINALLY returned those books I used last year for my Dante's Inferno paper. they were due February 26th. hmm. oh well. bottom line: COLLEGE LIFE: HERE I COME.
