Bored/Politics.

I think I want to be a politician. There's so much in New York City that people see and so much people don't see. I think that it's a problem when you can take a ten minute train ride - three, four stops at most - and go from some of the poorest and richest neighborhoods in the city. (/nation?) Politics is screwing so many people who don't even have a say.

What sparked this in me was watching the Bronx 12 news and seeing that 58% of people polled believed that the roads they travel were adequately plowed and snow-free. They showed a Metro North stop on Gun Hill Road, one of the main arteries in the North Bronx, and all you could see was a poorly 'shoveled' [trodden by pedestrians] sidewalk. But in the city, (I go to school on E 86th) it's never the case for me to find snow on the ground in the morning.

That's my opinion. And I think I can [try] to help, at least in my hometown. But I'm still very undecided.
