Wow a lot has been going on. I guess I'm referring to Judge Sotomayor and the Hudson River accident. Those two stories come up in my mind. Also that tragic accident on the Taconic. Two very sad stories both with a very deadly ending. My humble condolences go out to all the families affected by these two tragedies, directly and indirectly. On the other hand, I am beyond proud and honored that a Supreme Court Justice has been selected who is both of Hispanic descent as well as grew up in my hometown, the Bronx. 
As for myself, nothing much has been going on. I'm in a bit of a financial crisis at the moment, but in todays economy- who isn't? It'll be all taken care of this week when I get my paycheck. So that's no big deal. Work has been really relaxed and comfortable lately. Which is good, can't complain. I enjoy the company of the guys I work with. Also my soulmate* is back from her "vacation" in Brasil. She thinks she's so cool with her toilets flushing the opposite way and whatnot. Yeah whatever, lol. Glad she's back safe and sound because the swine flu has been bad down there. Psssh. Swine flu is sooo last spring.
